You Are Marvelously Helped

Uzziah provided the entire army with shields, spears, helmets, coats of mail, bows and sling stones. And he built structures on the walls of Jerusalem, designed by experts to protect those who shot arrows and hurled large stones from the towers and the corners of the wall. His fame spread far and wide for the Lord gave him marvelous help and he became very powerful (2 Chronicles 26: 14-15)

What does it mean to be marvelously helped?   According to the Strong's concordance, marvelous in Hebrew  is  pālā which means to be beyond one's power, to  be difficult to do, to be difficult to understand, to do extraordinarily hard or difficult things. Help in Hebrew is ʿāzar which means to be supported.

To be marvelously helped means to get support which in turn enables you to excel, do difficult or extraordinary things.

In your journey to becoming and living out your purpose, you will need God's help (Joshua 1:9, Isaiah 41:13, Acts 26:22)

For you to pray effectively or legislate in the spirit realm partnering with God to see His will in heaven done on earth, the Holy Spirit must help you (Romans 8:26)

When the enemy raises up a standard against you, the Hand of Yahweh Sabaoth will help/save you (Psalm 18:3, Isaiah 41:10)

When you're distressed, faced with dire situations and at your wits' end, you'll need the Lord to help you out of your troubles ( Psalm 18:6, Psalm 34:4-7, Psalm 46:1, 2 Chronicles 20:1-4)

If you want the best strategy for your job, marriage, business, ministry etc., you'll need the Lord's help in the form of His wisdom and insight (2 Samuel 5:17-21, Proverbs 3:5-6)

As you contend for the deliverance, freedom and victory for your family and bloodline  from generational curses, negative patterns and strongholds, the Lord  must help you by showing you mercy (Hebrews 4:16)

For you to be a sign and a wonder on this earth, flowing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and bearing much fruit, the Lord must help you (Zechariah 4:6-7)

In order for you to live an unstoppable life as a kingdom citizen here on earth you must be marvelously helped by God (2 Chronicles 20:3 & 2 Samuel 5:17-21)

If you want to be helped by God, you must do these 3 things:

1.  Pray- It's through prayer that you seek the Lord's help (Psalm 46:1). Kings Jehoshaphat and David sought the Lord's help and Yahweh Sabaoth fought for them giving them the victory over their enemies.

2. Listen for the Lord’s instructions- When you pray and ask the Lord to help you, listen for His instructions (Psalm 32:8).  His instructions come from the Holy Spirit who communicates them audibly to you personally (John 16:13), through prophetic words (2 Chronicles 20:13-18) or through Scripture.

3. Take your position- King Jehoshaphat and the children of Israel took their position by singing and offering praises up to Yahweh Sabaoth who caused infighting among the armies that had gathered against them (2 Chronicles 20:21-24).

King David positioned himself behind near the mulberry trees and waited to hear the sound of marching feet in the tops of the trees to know that Yahweh Sabaoth had gone ahead of him before striking down the Philistine army (2 Samuel 5: 23-25)

Once you have prayed and received instructions from the Lord, swiftly obey and take your position. Your obedience is what will cause the Lord to move His Mighty Hand on your behalf(1 Samuel 15:22)

As you step up into being unstoppable, fix your eyes on Jesus ,the author and finisher of your faith. Go forth boldly fully knowing and understanding that you are marvelously helped (Isaiah 26:3-4)
