Dear Friend,
We all want God to elevate us in life, right? Success, blessings, and prosperity – sign us up! But what if God says, "Hold up, I've got a plan, but it's gonna shake things up a bit!" Are you ready to be inconvenienced by God when He decides it's time to take you to the next level?
Let's unpack a few uncomfortable truths.
The Comfort Zone:
Let's face it; we love our comfort zones. We pray for blessings but want them delivered right to our doorstep, wrapped in a bow, without any inconvenience whatsoever. Change? No, we'd rather not. But here's the kicker – God's plan doesn't always fit inside our cozy bubbles.
So, what are you prepared to do?
God's Timing and Plan:
As believers, you know we must trust in God's perfect timing and master plan because He's the ultimate chess player, seeing moves we can't even fathom. Sometimes, He calls us out of our comfort zones, throws us into the deep end, and says, "Swim, my child!" Consider Peter, who walked, albeit briefly, on water.
Remember Abraham? God told him to leave his homeland and hit the road to a place he'd never seen (Genesis 12:1). Now you know that was an inconvenient move!
Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, facing obstacle after obstacle. Mary had her life flipped upside down when she was chosen to be the mother of Jesus.
Inconvenient? Absolutely.
But look at the extraordinary impact they had!
Embracing Inconvenience for Growth:
Being inconvenienced by God isn't always about big, flashy life changes. It can be as simple as putting aside your plans to be there for a friend in need or choosing to serve others when it's inconvenient. Yet, these moments of inconvenience are often where we grow the most, deepen our faith, and forge a stronger connection with God.
The Payoff of Obedience:
Here's the good thing: When we roll with God's plan, even when it's inconvenient, we open ourselves up to a world of blessings we couldn't have imagined. Excitingly, those inconveniences become opportunities for God to work wonders in our lives and through us.
The rewards of obedience? Mind-blowing.
Here's the question I want to ask you: Are you game for God's elevation plan, even if it means getting a bit uncomfortable?
If you are, get ready, stay flexible, and keep your eyes on the incredible journey God has in store for you.
It's going to be a wild ride!
