Believers are called to operate in power and authority. In Luke 9:1, Jesus calls His twelve disciples together and gives them power and authority to cast out demons and heal diseases. In Acts 1:8, Jesus told the disciples that when the Holy Spirit came upon them, they'd receive power to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
The Greek word for power here is 'dunamis' which represents strength, power and ability. Let’s explore 6 expressions of dunamis power:
1.    Power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature: We're powerful because we're sons of God and Christ is in us. Paul emphasized relying on Christ’s mighty power that was at work within him in Colossians 1:28 and 29. In 1 John 4:4, the Bible tells us that we are of God, and have overcome them, because He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.
2.    Power for performing miracles, which is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:10) People were convinced by the power of miraculous signs and wonders and by the power of God’s Spirit. (Romans 15:19) When Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them, the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did (Acts 8:5-6 NKJV)
3.    Moral power and excellence of soul: It is the Holy Spirit who helps us be godly, and live lives of honor that are pleasing to the Lord and that produce good fruit. We can borrow from Apostle Paul's prayer in Colossians 1:9-11 where he asked God for complete knowledge of His will, spiritual wisdom and understanding to grow- in order to know God better, be strengthened with all God's glorious power, have all the endurance and patience needed and to be filled with joy.

4.    Power and influence which belongs to riches and wealth: Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us to remember the Lord our God, who gives us power to create wealth. God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity (2 Corinthians 9:8 AMP) Â

5.    Power and resources arising from numbers: The agreement and unity present among the multitude of believers is a great resource. Jesus speaking, told His disciples that that where two or three gather in His name, He is present among them (Matthew 18:19-20) Psalm 133:1 tells us how good and how blessed it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Paul in 1 Corinthians 5:4 asked them to call a meeting of the church, where he would be present in spirit but so would the power of the Lord Jesus.
6.    Power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces and hosts: No weapon formed against us prospers (Isaiah 54:17) because God fights for us (Exodus 14:14) and when He is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) Isaiah 44:6-8 reminds us of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, declaring that He is the First and the Last, unmatched in power, and there is no other God like Him.

Dear friend, it is my prayer that you will walk in, experience and demonstrate these 6 expressions of kingdom power. Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think (Ephesians 3:20)
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power (1 Corinthians 4:20 NIV)
