I contemplated running away from God’s process.
Yes, you read that right. Upon counting the cost, I realized that the price of becoming is a HIGH one. I didn't even know that I was experiencing deep sorrow as a result of God’s process. It took me a long minute (translation - being silent and still with the Holy Spirit) to understand what was going on with my spirit man. In my silence, I had to ponder on the question “Who am I?” because I felt a bit lost.
I had forgotten my identity.
The Holy Spirit then began to remind me of these 9 infallible truths about the zoe life that I’d like to share with you:
Since you believe in and accept the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, you are a kingdom citizen, a son or daughter of God our heavenly Father (Romans 8:17).You have been made even higher than the angels who are servants, spirits sent to care for you- an inheriter of salvation (Hebrews 1:13-14)
There is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit (Romans 8:1) Nothing can or will ever separate you from the love of God.
Jesus has given you power and authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19) therefore though enemy may wage war against you, the weapon may form but it will never prosper (Isaiah 54:17)
You cannot operate from a place of fear. Fear is not from God (2 Timothy 1:7, 1 Peter 5:7) The Lord instructs you to be bold and courageous because He has promised to always be with us in all circumstances (Joshua 1:7, Psalm 23:4, Deuteronomy 31:8, 1 Corinthians 10:13)
You are not an orphan in this world because you have the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of truth, the Spirit of wisdom who knows all things (Isaiah 11:1-2), your advocate, ever present helper and comforter (John 14:16-17)
The Lord has meticulously planned out every detail of your life (Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 55:8-9) Every detail of your life is continually woven together for good, for you are His lovers who have been called to fulfill His designed purpose. (Romans 8:28)
You are safest in His hand. Your mind must be wholly submited to His plan and direction (Romans 8:7) You must let Him lead you. (Psalm 23:3) His faithful follower you must be because it is by His own hand that He leadeth you (Psalms 37:23)
You can do all things- not by your own strength- but through Jesus Christ who strengthens you (Phillipians 4:13, Mathew 19:26)
Every word and promise the Lord has spoken concerning you must come to pass for He is not a man that He should lie or change His mind (Numbers 23:19, Isaiah 55:11)
I know who God says I am, what He says I am not
I know who I am.
I' m walking in power, I'm walking in miracles,
I live a life of favor; I know who I am
