Words That Frame Worlds

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible (Hebrews 11:3 NKJV)

The Greek word representing 'worlds' is aion and its definitions include universe, eternity and period of time.

'Were framed' here means made fit, sound and complete. It also means to repair what was broken, to put in order, to arrange, adjust, prepare, strengthen, perfect, restore, perfectly join together and to make one what he ought to be.

'By the Word of God' means that which was spoken by the Living Voice of God and has a definite meaning; a command.

Let's look at this verse in the Amplified version:

By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.

According to the Merriam-Websters Dictionary, worlds can also represent a sphere of one’s life and actions. This definition can be expanded then to incorporate all spheres of life such as family, business, marriage, womb, business, finances, ministry, nation, bloodline and whatever else we can think to add.

In the NLT, Hebrews 11:3b reads, 'that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.'

Natural fruits have unseen (spiritual) roots

The spiritual and unseen realm is where things are created first before finding expression in the natural world- what we can see. Once a seed is planted, a complex process happens in the dark and unseen ground before we begin to see the manifestation of the shoot of the tree.

We cannot fully explain this mystery - except that we what we see has its cause in the spiritual realm.

As we continue to speak our 40 decrees anchored in the Word of God, be assured that His Word is operating in the spiritual and unseen realm to bring about the transformation of our worlds in the natural.

By faith, we know that our families, bloodlines, businesses, marriages, careers, relationships and all other spheres of our lives are being arranged, put in order, prepared, strengthened, perfectly joined together, restored and repaired at and by God's Command.

May we not forget that in the course of this challenge, behind the scenes, God's Word is very much at work. We shall see the evidence of our decrees in due time.
