I woke up this morning to go through my list of 40 decrees from last year, encouraged by Talaya's testimony of how 33 out of her 40 decrees have come to pass.
When Dr Briana put out the call for the Let There Be testimonies, I enthusiastically ran to my journal to see if there was anything to share. When I looked through my list the first time, I was like ‘hmm, nothing major really happened.’
It was disappointing, to be honest. Until I heard the Holy Spirit nudge me to look again. And He reminded me of the incident with Elijah and his servant.
and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” (1 Kings 18:43-44)
What I'd labelled as ‘nothing major’ was my small cloud, that signified rain in the horizon.
I’ve just come from checking again this morning, and I realize with deep gratitude and reverence- that from November last year to now, a significant number of the declarations I made have come to pass, in very unexpected ways.
They may not have shown up in black and white, but the Holy Spirit showed me that these declarations are what carried me through 2023. My seeds were sown during the 2022 Let There Be Challenge. In fact, at the time of writing this blog, one of the last declarations I had written down was unfolding before my eyes.

Don't be discouraged by the small cloud. It's a sure sign of the rain.
