I know you’ve heard it. You might have even SAID it a time or two - life be Life-ing.
You intend to do a thing, but something else comes up to stop, delay, or completely thwart that plan - life be life-ing. Trying to read your Bible, drink your water, mind your business, heal, work, save money, hold space, be a ____ (insert your life title here)- life be life-ing!
It’s easy to get caught up and accept the belief that life be life-ing, but the reality is that there is a specific plan against your life that has been handcrafted by the enemy. His plan is to steal, kill, and destroy. But always remember that Jesus came to give us a rich, abundant and satisfying life (John 10:10)
Any time you're tempted to settle on and believe that 'life be life-ing' concerning any misfortunes you might be going through, keep in mind that “God is God-ing”. Here’s an acronym to help you remember that- God be Guiding Our Direction In Never Giving Up
As believers, we can’t give up because God is out here orchestrating all things to work together for our good (Romans 8:28). We must know and believe that the satisfying life that God promises us in John 10:10 ensures success (2 Chronicles 26:5), peace (Isaiah 26:3), and safety (Jude 1:20) This is among what separates us as being in the world but not of the world (John 15:19-20 KJV)
There are conditions, however, such as seeking the Lord, keeping our thoughts fixed on Him, having faith, and praying. The reward for adhering to the conditions is SO worth it (success, peace, and safety).
Friend, our best plan pales in comparison to just one touch of God’s favor in our lives; so sit back, and let God be God.
