A worship leader, songwriter, and author, Jasmine’s passion is using her life and story to reach others wherever their life circumstances may lead them and to cultivate an atmosphere for Jesus to get the glory. In all her creative endeavors, Jasmine partners with Holy Spirit to help draw people to Christ and redefine what it means to worship God with their lives. Her new book, The Way We Worship: Learning to Worship God’s Way, serves as a primer in recognizing how we have all gone astray and a map for returning to the heart of our adoration and praise.

I Can Do It Myself, Daddy!
A good parent wants you to become independent and not need them for every single thing. (Also, your independence is usually really convenient for them.) This concept works everywhere except in the kingdom of God. God doesn’t want us to become independent of Him. He wants us to depend on Him for everything.
