I AM OVERWHELMED WITH GRATITUDE when I think about how far God has brought me. My testimony is a message of deliverance, freedom, and peace; one where the Hand of God Himself plucked me from the pit I’d found myself in.
In my last blog post, I shared how I was determined not to allow shame, guilt, and embarrassment over my weaknesses to punk me out of the grace and presence of God.
If you’re anything like me, I know that many of us are quietly struggling with our messes, feeling inadequate and even unworthy of the love of Jesus.
I’m here to remind you that Jesus loves you. He sees you. He cares for you.
During a recent morning in prayer, I felt it in my spirit that Jesus was calling us to lay it all down at His Holy Feet- the mess, the pain, the hurt, the incompleteness, the worry; ALL OF IT. I also had a beautiful revelation of King Jesus and how His blood cleanses us.
The blood of Jesus is much more than the healing balm of Gilead.
The blood of Jesus sanctifies us.
The blood of Jesus washes us white as snow and gives us a fresh start.
The blood of Jesus speaks a better report.
Jesus has deep compassion for His flock, which are you and I.
He came to bring the Good News to the poor and to set the captives free (Luke 4:18-21)
He came that we might have life and have it in abundance (John 10:10 b)
He gave His life willingly so that we would be reconciled back to the Father (John 3:16)
It is by the blood of the Lamb that we overcome (Revelation 12:11)
Today, my message is simple. Jesus is here, waiting for you and me to cast all our cares and burdens on Him as we run into His open arms and embrace.
As you go about your day, hold this truth dear: Jesus loves you, and He cares for you.
God is so good! This is speaking to my life right now! Amen 🙏🏽
